Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the latest game in the Assassin’s Creed series, telling the story of the master assassin Ezio Auditore's adventures. The project was released on the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
In the game's plot, Ezio travels to Masyaf, the homeland of Altair. Discovering that the city has been occupied by the Templars, who at this time still remain a powerful order, he manages to learn the reason for such interest in this place. The Templars are searching for an ancient artifact, access to which requires five seals. One of the seals is already in the hands of the Templars, while the others are located in Istanbul, the former Constantinople. Ezio needs to collect all the seals to uncover the mystery of his great ancestor. As the storyline progresses, in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, players will be able to control three characters – Ezio, Altair, and Desmond. This will provide answers to many questions that players have had since the time of Assassin’s Creed 2.
The game introduces many new elements. Now Ezio has a special tool for quick traversal across taut ropes – a unique hook that can also be used as a combat blade when necessary. Additionally, there are many different types of weapons, from spears to swords, that Ezio can acquire in shops or take from defeated enemies.
The crafting system includes over 300 recipes for creating various types of bombs, which will be useful for resolving difficult situations in combat. Furthermore, Ezio has a new useful ability called "Eagle Sense." This skill allows him to determine where a certain character has been and where they might go in the future. "Eagle Sense" is invaluable for organizing ambushes and traps, as well as in situations where he needs to avoid encounters with guards.
To restore the city, players must destroy Templar towers and build in their place. Additionally, if a fight breaks out with guards in areas already under your control, they may attempt to capture the player’s hideout. In such cases, defense will be necessary to prevent losing the territory. It’s also worth mentioning the “Black Room” – a special place in the Animus where players can control Desmond and delve into the depths of his subconscious.
