Age After Age — a unique city-building strategy with alternative eras
Game features:
- Start with a small group of colonists.
- Three different (unique) social classes: the lower class is made up of farmers, miners, lumberjacks, and fishermen, who need simple entertainment, regular clothing, and cheap food. The middle class consists of skilled artisans and logistics clerks, relying on well-prepared meals, drinks, meat, cultural places, and fine clothing. The upper class is power that always demands luxury, the best houses, and imported goods.
- 12 author-crafted (scripted) islands, each with its own biome, lore, and other features.
- Diplomacy, trade, exploration, and a ruins system on the map.
- Alternative eras — steampunk with automatons and airships, the gothic era with alchemists and corresponding architecture, industrial, utopia, and more.
- Other settlers. Just like you, they can declare trade wars, impose blockades, form alliances, impose sanctions, and trade in contraband.
- A system of laws and policies: propaganda, social programs, managing labor and market forces.
- A demo version is planned, to be ready after all graphic revisions are completed.
- The indie developer Farom Studio Ltd has announced a high replayability for the game Age After Age.
