Get Serious once again [and win a Steam version of Serious Sam 2!]}}
This week is the most Serious since the release of [Serious Sam 3](/games?search=Serious Sam 3). There are three reasons for giving away freebies this time!
[cut]
Firstly, yesterday marked the tenth anniversary of the release of [Serious Sam: the Second Encounter](/games?search=Serious Sam: the Second Encounter). The Second Coming is primarily remembered for its hurricane-like multiplayer, but the single-player runs will also remain in gamers' memories thanks to portals, gravity games, telephone booths, flamethrowers, chainsaws, and the series' signature dish: infinite meat. The unforgettable atmosphere of the final level is best reminded by its soundtrack:
First and Second Encounter are considered part of the golden fund of computer games in general and shooters in particular. Therefore, many were eagerly awaiting a full-fledged sequel. However, [Serious Sam 2](/games?search=Serious Sam 2), despite its merits, was not a continuation of the Sam that people loved. Disappointed, many didn't even give it a chance, even though the second part was a unique game in many ways. A full-fledged plot with numerous cutscenes and dialogues was infused with humor, and at times genuinely funny; the locations, weapons, and vehicles were made with love, and there were many of them. One could have made peace with the cartoonishness and bright colors, but the main problem was the significantly simplified gameplay in favor of console friends. More precisely, six years ago this was the main issue, but in our multiplatform time, isn't it time to give [Serious Sam 2](/games?search=Serious Sam 2) a second chance?
The introduction was too long, so the main point is: on January 27, [Serious Sam 2](/games?search=Serious Sam 2) will be released on Steam. No official details about the Steam version have been made public, but it is known for sure that this is not an HD remake. The developers will surely add Steam achievements, but whether there will be changes in the game itself we'll only find out the day after tomorrow. Judging by the picture above, which pertains to the Steam version, changes towards the canonical Sam seem quite likely. Instead of old trailers, I’ll post HD gameplay. What's to be afraid of, right?
And the last reason why this post turned out to be so golden is the Indie Royale [Serious Sam](/games?search=Serious Sam) Lightning Pack!
Six games, four of which are on Steam, and two — for the first time on PC, for around $4. The sale will last only 100 hours, a day of which has already passed. But even if you don’t win the lottery, you’ll certainly have time to buy it. Because the lottery starts right now! The Classic parts look magnificent even into their second decade, Double D brings meat into two dimensions without losing anything from the classic formula, and Random Encounter is just a confusing mess. But you'll have no choice, the lottery is relentless. However, they say that after all the keys are given out, this post will reveal the Steam version of Serious Sam 2!

And the final round!
Serious Sam 2 has been pushed to January 31 on Steam, but this date looks almost official: the developers confirmed that only a couple of days are left. So we have time. The task will be quite simple, the prize - the Steam version of Serious Sam 2.
Guess the price of Serious Sam 2 in the ruble Steam store considering all launch discounts!
Example: the game will be sold at a standard price of 599 rubles, but there will be a 10% discount for everyone during the launch week, and another 10% discount for owners of any game in the series. In this example, the correct answer is 479, taking into account a 20% discount. Don’t worry about coupons, they do not apply to new games.
Only one variant of the answer is accepted from each, the first one. Comments can be edited, but it’s unlikely to help you.
The contest will last until the price appears on Steam. Most likely, this will happen simultaneously with the start of sales.
The results will be announced within a day from this moment using random.org among all who named the correct number. If there is no correct option, the closest will win.
If the publisher announces the price in dollars in advance via Twitter or Facebook (or if the price appears, say, on GetGames), the contest doesn't end, but all correct entries submitted before that moment are counted with double weight in the random selection. You understand, converting prices is easier than guessing from scratch.
