Hello, dear viewers, this is the show "Taste", and I am your Andrei Makarevich. Today, I am performing without an ensemble. In our delicious show today, we have a lovely girl who possesses a well-developed Grandmaster Pathfinding - Olli!

Olli skillfully paved the way to the hearts of all visitors to the portal - as it should be, through the stomach. Practically every significant game released in the past 2011 has received a unique set of delicious sweets from Olli. And this, as Stas Davydov says, [IS GOOD]. What’s even better about Olli is that she made it to the finals of the [Miss Gamer](/games?search=Miss Gamer) 2012 contest and will represent the game [Panzar: Forged By Chaos](/games?search=Panzar: Forged By Chaos).

Cute Ever: Let's start boldly and cheekily. Olya, tell me honestly: are you really a gamer? ;)

Olli: I am a gamer just as much as I am an artist-designer and a little chef :) There are periods when you dive headfirst into a game and sit there until you're sick in 24/7 mode, and there are times when you tell yourself: “That's it, I'm done!” and try to do something useful, create, and reach for new discoveries. In the end, I am torn - my love for cooking, games, and creativity cannot be taken away from me. I have to adapt and combine everything :)

Cute Ever: Where do you think a girl ends and a gamer begins, and where does a gamer end and a hardcore player begin? Between which two boundaries do you find yourself?

Olli: In fact, I am multifaceted :) I was a hardcore player - that’s for sure. Take six years out of life, cut out live communication and a normal life altogether, add Lineage 2 and Aion, and the madman’s desire to possess all the goodies and fragments of the game. Oh yes, and chronic bruises as a bonus on Olli’s girl face, but already with painful paleness. Although there’s nothing to be proud of here, I am still glad that I am no longer dependent on the minute-by-minute urge to log back into the game and stay there longer and have more and more. Somewhat this drug is good: you don’t need anything, you forget about problems and people altogether, and you stay in your wonderful world where you are omnipotent. But one must not forget that time always rushes forward.

Cute Ever: You recently achieved a very honorable achievement - you made it to the finals of MissGamer. For some unknown reasons, you only managed this on the second try. What was the first attempt like?

Olli: Last year I really wanted to get into the finals just as much as this year. My competitors were the participants of the qualifying rounds of The Witcher 2 and [Seventh Element](/games?search=Седьмой Элемент). But I don’t regret at all that I ended up among the supporters - all the girls in the final were wonderful and amazing. So this time I was determined to go all the way to victory.

Cute Ever: And this year - why Panzar?

Olli: I learned about Panzar at Gamer Live 2011. I remember the first question when meeting the clan was “Do I play Panzar?”, to which I replied negatively and was scorched by the outraged gazes of those around :) Yes, feeling useless is the worst - I have always been, and will be, the most caring healer! It was frustrating to be inactive in the tournament and only support our team by cheering. Now, no one will escape my freezing!

Cute Ever: After GamerLive 2011, the community had a somewhat negative attitude towards Panzar. Aren’t you afraid that the bias against the game might affect your success in the finals?

Olli: Those who are not with me are under me.

Cute Ever: This year, participants are promised finally some challenges to test their gamer skills. How are you doing with esports disciplines?

Olli: I haven’t participated in tournaments yet. I imagine the emotions you experience during the battle! In MMOs, I always had enough of both team play and PvP.

Cute Ever: You have completely conquered the community with your charming original sweets, but it all started differently, quietly: you were noticed after a series of victories in art competitions. Why do we rarely see your artistic works now?

Olli: Most of my creativity is now invested in education; we only draw at university. I can’t even remember how long it has been since I held a pen in my hand.

I try to post all my artistic works on my website. By the way, I made it from scratch myself :) I wanted to become a web designer, but over time I realized what I really want. Now I intend to get into game development and work conscientiously.

It’s always hard to refrain from participating in creative contests; for me, it’s like a challenge :) I love to surprise and make gifts with just as much pleasure.

Cute Ever: A tricky question: have you gotten used to winning yet? ;)

Olli: Win once, and second place will never be enough. Therefore, if you’re going, it’s only towards victory. Defeats also happen - they are an excellent kick in the rear for the future :)

Cute Ever: What are you expecting from the MissGamer contest and from yourself in the contest?

Olli: A shake-up. I want to get new emotions, regardless of whether they are positive or negative. I consider any experience invaluable. I won’t spare my strength or myself. And I finally want to trade my complexes for confidence. And that exists :)

Cute Ever: And again about culinary feats. Did you really bribe the Panzar players with cookies? Why sweets?

Olli: I spare no effort, time, or money, as long as the right boxes are checked in the ballots :D Just kidding, of course. By the way, you may not believe me - but this very delicacy helps cope with all physical and emotional illnesses. And what about calories and figure? It’s simple: if chocolate brings joy and harmony, then calories immediately transform into happiness.

Cute Ever: And if you had to promote healthy eating, in which gaming universe would you lay out your table and what would be on it?

Olli: Oh, I would throw a dinner party in the “Steel Fin” in Aion. The variety of dishes offered would not leave anyone indifferent: I am sure that the delicious meat of the emperor of terrible dragons in batter or ethereal sausages made from merdion meat would delight even the most discerning gourmets. And there would be a great many sweets: it would be simply impossible to refuse my candies, cookies, and pies!

Wait, we are talking about healthy eating :) In that case, first stop smoking, okay?

Cute Ever: Is drawing and treats just a hobby, or is any of this a source of income?

Olli: If I were paid for my posts, I would have already taken over gamer.ru with my activity :)

But I did manage to decorate the pear with some non-sugary content: Santa Mario, who welcomed the Year of the Dragon with us, and bullfinches in snowy comments - some of my recent works.

I have an endless number of ideas in my head, I want to redo everything.

Time, of course, limits. Doing what you love and also earning money – that’s everyone’s dream, I think. So far, I am doing fairly well with freelancing. I particularly enjoyed working on designing websites for gaming servers of Lineage 2.

Cute Ever: Do other forms of leisure - movies, cartoons, literature - cover your creativity? What else does Miss Panzar enjoy besides games, handmade crafts, and sweets?

Olli: I am ready to engage in photo hunting at any time of the year, day, and night. In photographs, I try to convey my view of the surrounding world, to tell about the beauty of simplicity that many overlook. I prefer macro photography.

And I'll never get tired of dancing, as long as it’s from the heart. And I also have a passion for watching a good movie with pizza and beer! :)

Cute Ever: A question that was also asked in the interview with Mila, I would like to address to you as well. How about joining the cosplay community?

Olli: To be honest, I never seriously considered the prospect of becoming an active participant in the cosplay community. But I am clearly aware that I am not indifferent to it. It’s pure magic :)

Cute Ever: The elf you will portray in the finals of the contest has quite… mmm… exotic appearance. Doesn't that scare you?

Olli: On the contrary, it attracts me. She is unusual, graceful, and confident (And terrifying, like my life without money - note from the correspondent). The character immediately resonated with me. I plan to create a maximum contrast and memorable image for the cosplay show.

Cute Ever: What character do you think suits you best?

Olli: I think it’s best to experiment constantly. After all, you don’t know until you try. I haven’t managed to realize many images thus far.

On Valentine’s Day, I predict a crazy tea party where I will be playing my favorite heroine. Don’t miss it! :)

Cute Ever: Is there something in the world of fan creativity that you really want to do, but there's a risk that it might not work out? Some epic and unattainable dream, perhaps, that’s better to just dream about? Or is realization just a matter of time?

Olli: Risk? The biggest risk is taken by those who do not take risks. Everything that comes to my mind doesn’t let me go until I realize it, no matter how crazy it may be :) It’s embarrassing to constantly justify myself with the question of time - after all, everyone has the same amount of it as Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci, for example. But sometimes it’s precisely the lack of it that ties your hands.

I firmly know one thing: there’s nothing impossible or unattainable. So, I prefer to act rather than dream.

Cute Ever: What is your main motto in life?

Olli: Everything is in your hands, so don’t let them down.

Cute Ever: Do you have your own formula for happiness?

Olli: This is how my existence usually flows: I try to find something useful and positive in everything. I try not to get upset and not listen to advice. There are few people, even fewer opinions. Only you know what you want.

Cute Ever: And the last, most exciting question: does Miss Panzar already have her mister?

Olli: One and for life - as long as I can remember ;)

We especially thank those who, after Olga’s last answer, did not immediately go to say goodbye to the cruel world, but decided to read the final paragraph of this interview:3 You were with Andrei Makarevich without an ensemble Cute Ever and Olga Olli Kharlamova. See you in the finals!
