Alice is to blame for my reasoning. (Analysis of teasers)
Ideally, a detailed breakdown of the teasers for Alice: Madness Returns should have been done a long time ago. But there’s nothing yet. (I searched!). The teaser for Batman: Arkham City has been thoroughly analyzed long ago, the announcement date for Hitman 5 is known from three images. But what about Alice?! I decided to restore justice, albeit 8 months late. But better late than never!
I’m not to blame for the delay. I found out about the existence of Alice: Madness Returns a month ago, and a week ago I decided to draw art of Alice and started studying existing material, to ensure that in my drawing Alice looks like Alice, Wonderland looks like Wonderland, etc. While watching one video, I noticed something that prompted a more detailed study of the teasers.
Teaser 1
In it, we can learn which characters will appear in the game.
It seems like a simple room. Well, almost simple. Prosthetic arms hanging from the ceiling, skeletons, stuffed animals, twisted metal, books, and jars, jars, jars. An unusual setting for a psychologist's office! But we are looking for a message from the developers, and there’s plenty here. Anyone who has read the books about Alice’s adventures or played American McGee's Alice will be able to find at least a few of them. Well, if they try, of course!

A vivisection of a mouse is a clear nod to Sonia.

The image on the teapot looks a lot like
The Jabberwock.
I’m not exactly sure it is him. But there is some resemblance.
Among the cards lying face down is the Queen of Hearts.
Vaguely and distantly reminiscent of the Walrus.
A preserved Caterpillar.

None other than the Mad Hatter.

The Dodo bird nobody cares about anymore.

A cat skeleton. Hmm, who is this a nod to?!
The Cheshire Cat

Well, this one is clear. The White Rabbit.

A little whimsy

I think this refers to the White Knight.
I can't provide a clear explanation for the prosthetics hanging from the ceiling and the puppet heads. Except to conclude that it may hint at a new type of enemy and a connection with the Mad Hatter, who is pieced together.

And now we move on to the main point. The one that triggered my searches for hidden references.
When Alice is suddenly hit by a severe case of scurvy and blood flows from her mouth while her teeth fall out. On one of her teeth, you can notice a symbol.
This symbol denotes uranium. Uranium can refer to the planet, the chemical element, and a god. This symbol can also be noticed on one of the artworks
The only thing that came to my mind is that perhaps the Caterpillar will become the main antagonist, or just an antagonist to Alice. It sounds silly, but who knows? American McGee has quite a sense of humor.
Symbols in the Alice series are a separate topic for discussion, which I will not touch upon. It’s just too delicate.
