Witcher Easter Eggs
*Hello everyone, gamers. In this post, I would like to tell you about the Easter eggs (i.e., secrets) hidden in the game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Of course, I'll show you. I must say that most of the Easter eggs are not easy to find, so I only found a portion of them. Others will be added to this post over time. For those who haven't found anything, this post is just right to read.
Let's get started in order and mixed up:

PROLOGUE
1. The Dungeon of La Vallette Castle
The first Easter egg I encountered was in the dungeon of La Vallette Castle. In one of the cells, several prisoners sit, and they have an interesting conversation about a tattoo on the back that looks like a map of the prison on one of the prisoners. This is a clear reference to the American or Russian series "Prison Break."
You promised a map? Here’s your map! The tattoo is top class! Shouldn’t I have been locked up? I was! So what’s the deal?!
Calm down. And third, the tattoo should be on the back, not on the butt.
Moving on. The action also takes place in the dungeon. I noticed the Easter egg after replaying the game. When a platter with sausages and water is brought to the witcher during an interrogation. So, don’t consider me a pervert, but the far left sausage looks very much like a penis.))
Sausage-pipis. A very useful item.
2. The Siege of La Vallette Castle. King Foltest's Camp.
Another Easter egg may not actually be an Easter egg, but at the very beginning of the game, when you exit the tent and walk around the camp, you can hear one of the guards say: "To hell with me! May I never eat this again!" This may be a reference to David Blaine, street magic. Those who have seen it will understand.
Aha, these guys. To hell with me! This is David Blaine.
3. Geralt’s Skills
Well, I think everyone noticed this Easter egg. The menu where you upgrade your character's skills. The ability icons look like little molecules from jelly - the game World of Goo.
4. The Siege of La Vallette
Behind the ballista is a broken cart with hay, and there lies a man in white, with a hood and a red strap on his waist - a reference to the game Assassins Creed.
They told him that 100 grams won't lead to good.
CHAPTER 1
1. Flotsam
At Flotsam, there are two alchemists standing near a forge of two dwarves. If you talk to them, one of the alchemists will suggest visiting these two in a year or two in Vyzima. So, I think this is a hint at the third part of the game, where we will again visit Vyzima.
When the Witcher, Triss, and Roche crash into Flotsam, a guard approaches and asks who we are. Roche responds: "Merchant Grocer Emhyr var Emreis." According to Andrzej Sapkowski's books, Emhyr var Emreis is the emperor of Nilfgaard.
In the tavern of Flotsam, there's a monk. If you try to win against him in dice, in the diary in the hint section, you can find a message like this:
And the monk isn’t just any player; he plays dice like a real hustler.
Quest "Fight Club." If in the last fight you accept Loredo's offer and lose the fight, we will be carried out into the street. Dandelion will come up and say something like: "The little cephalopod they keep here knows how to predict the winner." A blatant reference to Paul the Octopus, the famous football predictor.
It flies beautifully. Just like Max Payne.
2. The Flotsam Forest
Next. Deep in the forest, almost by the river, lie 3 dead guards, and next to them a moonshine still. If you go deeper into the forest, you can find 4 more dead guards near an old hut where bandits have settled. And around them are bottles of alcohol. Apparently, one group was going to meet the other to drink))
The guards sure loved to drink.
Poor guys. How could they get so drunk to death.
3. Kayran's Lair
Not far from the entrance to the lair lies a dead man - a shoemaker, and next to him, a sheep. A reference to one of the legends (or a book, I don’t remember) about a dragon that ate animals and people. The shoemaker threw a sheep filled with grey matter to the dragon. The dragon swallowed it and died. But with Kayran, that didn’t work out.
What a way to smoke, to go after Kayran with a sheep.
CHAPTER 2
1. The Surroundings of Kaedwen's Camp
The brothel (big tent). One of the whores ladies says: "Make love, not war!" A reference to John Lennon's song - "Mind Games" or a motto of the hippie movement.
And the girls here are just right, unlike in Flotsam.
I found a very interesting book with one merchant. Suitable for beginner lame-os.
2. Kaedwen Camp
Possibly also an Easter egg. A knight named Gondor - the Kingdom of Gondor in the "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
What a name.
3. The City of Vergen
In the quest "In Search of Magic," between Philippa, Geralt, and Yorveth, there is an interesting conversation:
Philippa: I need a powerful magical item, or one of the 12 rings of power.
Yorveth: One ring to rule them all....
Geralt: Yeah, and then I’ll be walking barefoot across a volcano.
A reference to the "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
...barefoot across the volcano... - I cried.
In the mine of the city of Vergen, you can find a letter from the gnome Balin - a reference to the movie "The Lord of the Rings."
CHAPTER 3
1. The Ruins of Loc Muinne
Take a good look at this fortress. Doesn’t it remind you of anything? Loc Muinne looks a lot like the castle of the dead (I don't remember the exact name) from "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Almost above every entrance, there's a stone fresco in the shape of Sauron's eye. And the rock on which the witcher stands also resembles the rock where Frodo and Sam climbed. By the way, Loc Muinne also somewhat resembles the Imperial City from TESIV: Oblivion.
Here it is, Saruman's fortress.
And down below, Fedya and Senya are climbing.
