The first stage of the esports tournament "Battle of the Factories" has concluded.
Last week, the first stage of the esports tournament for employees of industrial enterprises “Battle of Factories” concluded. In the qualifying battles, 48 teams from the largest industrial enterprises in Russia and Belarus participated. The final match will take place at the Moscow cluster of video games and animation on Tankist Day, which in 2026 falls on September 13.
The finalists represent four enterprises: “Rosselmash” (Rostov-on-Don), Ural Civil Aviation Plant (Yekaterinburg), “Transneft - Friendship” (Bryansk), and “Novo-Vyatka” (Kirov). For three weeks, the teams competed in the game “World of Tanks” in a “7x7” format (seven players on each team). Among the participants were both newcomers and experienced gamers, with the main condition being that all team members must work at the same enterprise.
Finally, a few words from the tournament organizers, including the online platform “Games Rostelecom,” the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), the game studio “Lesta,” and the Creative Industries Agency (AKI).

The tournament clearly demonstrated that esports blurs boundaries and helps employees of major enterprises not only to meet but to find common interests and showcase the best fighting qualities. In the final, of course, we wish victory to the strongest, and we also hope that new connections and a spirit of unity among participants will remain.”

Creative Industries Agency (AKI) was established by the Moscow Government in 2020 to support and develop creative businesses. The main tasks of the agency are to form a positive image of the city of Moscow and position it as an international creative center. AKI supervises ten creative industries, including video games, film, animation, design, and music.
