Tanks Blitz – a new program from the Federation of Computer Sports of Russia!
The game Tanks Blitz ("Tanks Blitz") is included in the program of the Federation of Computer Sports of Russia in the discipline of "Tactical three-dimensional combat." It will make its debut on May 16 as part of the mobile competition tournament "Playing Everywhere with GigaChat."
It is worth noting that the project already has experience in similar competitions. In 2023, the Blitz Point League started to develop — an internal esports ecosystem with tournaments and division of teams by skill level. The prize fund for the final stage reached 36 million rubles, and online broadcasts attracted up to 450,000 viewers.
"Joining the Federation of Computer Sports of Russia significantly expands opportunities for our audience and allows us to view the game not just as a hobby, but as part of professional esports. For the industry, this is a significant signal: the mobile segment, which has long been sidelined, is starting to receive equal status with PC projects," said the director of publishing and promotion of Tanks Blitz Kirill Nechaev.
For the Federation of Computer Sports of Russia, this is another step in developing cooperation with the group of companies "Lesta Games." Previously, the computer game "World of Tanks" was included in the federation's program.
"We had a positive experience of collaboration with the group of companies 'Lesta Games', and we are glad that the new project 'Tanks Blitz' has joined us. This opens opportunities not only for the game's audience but also reflects the growing interest in mobile esports," noted the president of the Federation of Computer Sports of Russia Dmitry Smit.
The Federation of Computer Sports of Russia is a nationwide public organization responsible for developing mass computer sports (esports) in the Russian Federation.
