Kembalinya Langit Kain dengan Gregory Fulton
Aloha, cyber heroes!
In connection with the release of the trailer announcing the launch of the last three factions in the tabletop game Heroes of Might and Magic III from the Polish studio Archon Studio, I decided to selectively and abstractly translate the interview with Gregory Fulton, published on the official website of Archon Studio.
- Not only Zestral will appear in the Sky Forge. The tabletop game from Archon Studio will include a dark version of Mülich.
- Greg was surprised by the concept art of the Psionic Watchers, created by Archon Studio.
- Gregory Fulton shared in the interview that after finishing the book HoMM3 Recollections, he would work on a less ambitious game. The project Fanstratics was recognized as unfinished due to Gregory's declining health.
- Initially, there were supposed to be four levels of the wizard guild in the Sky Forge. 2/3-level guilds were also the norm for NWC developers. For the tabletop game, Gregory established a three-level wizard guild.
- The combat machine for the Forge was initially a Supply Cart. In the tabletop game, thanks to Fulton, there should be a Lightning Generator. Now it looks more like a medieval Tesla Coil on wheels.
- For the original Forge, the Resource Storage produced +1 ore. Greg says he wanted to make the Storage upgradable—it was supposed to produce +1 crystals or +1 sulfur at the second level. The tabletop version of the Resource Storage is four-level—it produces +1 wood, +1 ore, +1 crystals, +1 gems.
- Greg Fulton wanted to introduce an upgradable Artifact Merchant for the Forge, who would produce powerful artifacts.
- The installation for casting Acid Rain is the new Grail for the Sky Forge from Archon, which Greg always wanted to introduce.
- A moat with toxic waste, reinforced walls, and towers—this was all planned to be developed for the Forge.
- Gregory Fulton offered Archon Studio a Cyber Transformer as a second special building. An analogue of the Skeleton Converter, only much-much more powerful.
- The Forge was not intended for multiplayer. Creatures from level 5 to 7 were supposed to require gold and resources for hiring.
- It should also be noted that the HotA Crew conducted a large-scale survey of Gregory Fulton. There was a question about Clockwork Town.
