Mystery: Legends of the Beyond is a browser-based collectible card online game with RPG elements from the Mystery Team.
In Mystery: Legends of the Beyond, players embark on a path of magic, proving themselves as the best and most skilled master of scrolls and spells through the role of a battle wizard. Most of the time, players will engage in combat. Regardless of the location, the fights are always 1-on-1 duels. Other players cannot intervene, but watching the duel from the sidelines is allowed.
Mystery: Legends of the Beyond is a turn-based game where players have a limited amount of time to make their move. If you fail to cast a spell, attack, or press the skip turn button for any reason, you will be counted as defeated. A defeat is also counted after one of the duelists is killed.
The losing player may surrender to the opponent's mercy, but that essentially changes nothing. The defeated side loses money and health. Health can be restored over time, and it’s best to spend that time in a tavern, where the health bar regenerates faster.
Each player is given a certain amount of energy to cast spells and summon various creatures. The amount of energy also depends on the character's leveling and the availability of certain artifacts. Even a slight advantage of one player over another in this parameter is a claim to victory.
In Mystery: Legends of the Beyond, battle wizards can summon various creatures (up to 5) to assist in battle. Most of them focus on fighting similar minions summoned by the opponent. There are also summoned creatures that ignore the enemy wizard's helpers, attacking the wizard directly instead. Summoning creatures, like casting spells, automatically ends the player's turn. However, if a player uses artifacts before casting spells, the turn may continue.
Spells in the game are initially available, with four scrolls from each element. If you want to learn something new or more powerful, you can purchase scrolls in the wizard towers. Each player has their own spellbook, where they record all the scrolls. A spellbook can contain a maximum of 120 scrolls, 20 from each element. In total, there are about 240 scrolls in the game.
Players can fight not only in arenas, clan clashes, or castle sieges but also in so-called Outposts. There, their opponents become mobs, from which money and rare artifacts drop. In addition, the game features various bosses that are difficult to kill, but the reward for defeating them will be much more generous.
