INTRODUCTION
Good-good eyes.. affectionate..
Diablo III was announced at WWI in June 2008, making the entire gaming world buzz like a disturbed beehive. Countless rumors circulating online were finally confirmed when the developers brought their work on the game to public scrutiny. Since then, a multitude of various petitions has been written, which, however, does not prevent Blizzard from sticking to its course, trying to make the third installment just as legendary as its two predecessors. What will come of it, we will find out quite soon (considering the waiting time since the game's announcement, the remaining year or so until release is indeed “soon”). Keep an eye on the blog updates - and you will be in the loop!

BRIEF ON THE PLOT
Two decades have passed since the heroes fought against the Triad and their minions. Two decades since Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal were defeated, and fragile peace reigned in the lands of Sanctuary. However, Deckard Cain suspects that not everything is as it seems and heads to the old cathedral of Tristram in search of answers. When a comet falls from the sky, it crashes directly into the cathedral, thus opening the gates to the Abyss. Demons reappear in Sanctuary, but the former heroes are either dead or have gone insane from the horrors they witnessed. New heroes rise to defend the lives of peaceful settlers and stop the evil.
COLLECTION OF FACTS
(to be updated and edited)
The very cathedral where it all began. Déjà vu?
• In the original game, there will be five characters: the Barbarian, the Witch Doctor, the Wizard, the Monk, and the Demon Hunter. Two more character classes are tentatively planned for the addon. As of now, information about the addon as well as the two additional classes has not been confirmed.
• All Diablo III heroes are unique. Each class has its own unique skills, possesses a specific type of energy, and handles permitted types of weapons. Players can choose the character's gender, and currently both genders are available for all announced characters.
• Skill trees no longer exist. The game features only active skills, divided into seven ranks, and tendencies, which serve as passive skills. Each character has their own unique skills and tendencies. During gameplay, a character can learn only seven active skills, unlocking them at the corresponding levels. Additionally, five runes have been designed for customizing characters that can be inserted into active skills.
• There are several types of items in the game: normal, magical, rare, set, unique, and class-specific. As before, each type of item will be colored differently. Item modifiers, especially for rare and set items, will vary more than in Diablo II: for example, a modifier for +% damage might range from 20 to 150. The game will feature craftsmen who can assist the hero with equipment. A special chest has also been announced, which can convert unwanted items into raw materials for creating new items.
• Currently, two acts of the game have been developed and voiced: the first takes place near Tristram, in the lands of the Western Kingdoms, and the second in the desert, around Caldeum and the Borderlands. Detailed information about other acts is not yet available.
• The game has a varied quest system: some quests are mandatory for progressing the main storyline, while others are optional. As you progress, companions may join you.
• Several types of monsters exist: from common ones to champions and bosses. Bosses and champions, as before, have additional modifiers and increased health.
• The surrounding world is interactive. You can destroy various structures and objects to deal damage to enemies. The game features multiple types of damage, each with its visual component: for instance, fire damage is highlighted in red, while poison damage is highlighted in green.
• A checkpoint system is in place (passing by such checkpoints is remembered by the game, and if the character dies, they respawn at the last checkpoint). The game will also include a portal system.
• The team play mode allows a party of up to 4 players (for visualization purposes, to avoid cluttering the screen with skill and spell effects). All party members receive bonuses while within the range of a
