A maniac, a sadist, a psycho, and simply The Dude returns to us to add a new dose of bloody mayhem to this dull life. Postal 3 is the third part of the Postal universe, telling the story of an atypical representative of the human race. Developed by Running with Scissors in collaboration with TrashMasters and "Akella". The narrative begins with The Dude finding himself in a town called Catharsis, accompanied by his loyal but very angry dog named Champ. If we recall what happened to the town in the second part of the series, it's not hard to imagine the scale of the impending disasters for the residents of the city with a "talking" name in Postal 3.
The Dude tries to start a new life and even be somewhat good, but once again everything goes wrong. An economic crisis hits, 'green' extremists rage, The Dude is bothered by both cops and psychopaths obsessed with ecology, bikers of alternative orientation harass him, and rhinos roam the streets. It's very hard to stay calm in this situation, and the main character once again unleashes his twisted imagination, not forgetting to unleash his bloodthirsty pit bull. In Postal 3, we will meet many old acquaintances, and to ensure that everyone is completely convinced of the madness of the game world, characters such as the old terrorist Osama (thankfully, dead), trash video master Uwe Boll, and the swindler and con artist Mavrodi who emigrated to the USA have been added to the third installment.
However, it's not necessary to 'kill' all the residents indiscriminately. At the player's discretion, The Dude can even side with the police to combat the crime wave in the city. This is possible thanks to three different paths of gameplay: the good path, the evil path, and the insane path. The amount of blood increases as the level of the game intensifies. If you've finally decided to follow the well-trodden path from the first parts, don't feed the dog, choose the level of unrestrained brutality, and prepare for battle with your trusted shotgun, badger chainsaw, and killer vacuum cleaner. The game features numerous NPCs, each with their own behavior pattern. What to do with them? That's up to you.
Unlike Postal 2, which used the Unreal Engine, the new part of the saga is developed on the SourceTM engine from Valve and is available for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 owners. The game is now a third-person shooter, unlike the second part, where we controlled The Dude from a first-person perspective. Postal 3 is available in four editions – standard, gift, collectible, and Pink Ultra Limited Edition.
