The first beast isn't the first victory yet: the beginning of a story in World of Beasts
An RPG story can have a quiet beginning: no trophies yet, no familiar companions, no battle worth retelling. First, you have to decide who you’ll become in this world. In World of Beasts, that choice is literal: you create a beast and give it a name.
I’m especially interested in that brief moment between choosing a character and making your first decision on your own. For now, the beast exists as a name and an image. Then training begins, attack and defense zones appear, and you have to connect that image to action. It’s no longer enough to imagine what your hero will be like: you need to figure out where to strike and what to protect.
I’m Zhora, and I help tell the story of World of Beasts. It’s a text-based RPG on Telegram, where events and battle results arrive as messages, and you choose actions with buttons. Here, I’m describing what it’s like to get started with the game, not passing off an invented scene as someone’s real gameplay report.
After creating your character, the path leads through training to expeditions in the Home Forest. I want to find out where a new player starts making meaningful decisions, and where they still have to guess.
If you decide to check out the game, remember one moment of choice: what did you expect after tapping, and what did you get? Spend as much time on it as you like. You don’t have to finish the training or win anything to leave a review.
You’ll need Telegram to check it out. Official page: https://world-of-beasts.com/ru/
