TERA: The Battle For The New World - a multiplayer game developed by Bluehole Studio, the team of which consists of alumni from the renowned South Korean giant NCsoft. TERA was tested in Asia, then in North America and Europe. A distinctive feature of this project is the "Non-target" system, which does not assume automatic target locking. Players must aim and strike at enemies manually to hit and deal maximum damage. Interestingly, TERA even takes wind direction into account, so an arrow may not reach its target.
The history of the game TERA has roots in ancient times, in those mythical eras when there were no continents. Then, two titans met, named Shara and Arun. For unknown reasons, the titans fell asleep and became continents. This marked the birth of the world of TERA. Like all normal living beings, Arun and Shara had dreams that had a unique property – they became reality. The titans saw in their dreams twelve Gods, and these higher beings were immediately brought into existence. Unfortunately, they could not coexist peacefully and soon began to feud. In new dreams, Arun and Shara saw mortal beings that also materialized in the world of TERA. During the conflict, the gods drew them to their side. As a result of the great war, nearly all living creatures perished. But time passed, new races arose, and they united to confront a new threat...
