B&D Game Fest 2026 will take place on June 6 and 7 at the Institute of Business and Design
The B&D Institute of Business and Design has announced the return of the annual video game and gaming culture festival, B&D GAME FEST. On June 6th and 7th, students, developers, and simply guests will have the opportunity to meet industry leaders in person: from HR directors to top bloggers.
This festival will be held for the sixth time and will once again showcase fresh talent, as well as facilitate networking between companies, experts, and those who are just learning to enter the industry.
Day One Program, June 6:
1:00 PM | Panel Discussion “Game Dev 2026: Who Does the Market Need, What Should Universities Do?” — the most important conversation about staffing. Participants: Sergey Volkov (MGLA Studio), Alexander Vetushinsky (B&D), Denis Pozdnyakov (HSE University), Maria Kochakova (Game Writer, “Naratika”). Moderator — Alexei Drokanov (VK Education). They will discuss how universities can stop teaching “the wrong things” and help students become in-demand specialists.
3:00 PM | Discussion “Who Promotes Games Today: Media, Bloggers, or Marketing” with Hamroz Davlatov (IGM), Anastasia Egorova (“Fogame”), Ivan Sidorenko (Astrum Entertainment), Alexander Artemov (“Navigator of the Gaming World”). You will learn how to get to the top without a million-dollar budget.
5:00 PM | Pitching Student Games in front of top experts from VK Play (Alexander Egorov, Andrey Karelin), VK Education (Alexei Drokanov), Take Top Entertainment (Denis Sandakov), and APRIORI (Alexander Sharov).
Throughout the day, various projects created by B&D students will be showcased in the foyer. From early prototypes to nearly finished releases. You can play, communicate with the authors, and look for talents for your studios.
Day Two Program, June 7:
1:00 PM | HR Session Astrum Entertainment “From Resume to Dream Offer” — an exclusive master class from the leading publisher’s HR team. Marina Rivkin and Ekaterina Zaikina will analyze real cases on how to go from application to job offer. What mistakes do 90% of candidates make? How to format your portfolio to be noticed? The main feature: live feedback on resumes and portfolios — you can bring yours and receive honest feedback from professionals.
3:30 PM | Open Consultations on Gaming Projects — a format that will allow all festival guests to learn about the potential of their project. Interested individuals can approach any of the experts (on a first-come, first-served basis) and showcase their project on a laptop to receive honest feedback. Among those who will help refine game design, monetization, or presentation are: Danila Kamenev (Indie Go), Vasily Skobolev (Naratika), Andrey Karelin (VK Play), Vladimir Agaev (JayJoy), Alexander Krylov (Multidisciplinary Artist).
5:00 PM | Pitching Winners of Game Jam Moscow (http://геймджем.москва) and awards featuring blogger Alexey Lutsai, the studio perelesoq, and other experts.
