The additional prototype submission in the partner nomination by the Tavros group of companies has concluded at the Accelerator for Useful Games. Over two weeks, the organizers received 20 games about agricultural technologies and production processes.

The partner nomination "Tavros" was announced in October 2025 and aimed to create educational games in three areas of agribusiness: pig farming, poultry farms, and sugar factories.

In the "Sugar Factory" category, 10 games were submitted, while the "Poultry Farm" and "Happy Pig" areas had four games each; two games attempted to combine all three categories.

How the Selection Process Worked

To immerse participants in the topic, Artem Samoylov, IT Director and Digital Transformation at Tavros Group, held a webinar where he discussed the collaboration scheme with the company's experts and demonstrated the operations of the holding's enterprises. Those participating in the nomination received briefs with technical tasks and references.

Prototypes were submitted to the open call of the Accelerator through several channels: during the online game jam, independently outside the jam, and in the special nomination "Useful Games" at the Sineus hackathon. Applications with attached builds were registered via a special form on the Accelerator's page.

What the Experts Evaluated:

  • Compliance of games with technical specifications;
  • Potential for developing educational content;
  • Balance of gameplay mechanics and useful content;
  • Opportunities for further project development.

"We are very interested in observing how young developers interpret real production processes through the game format. For us, these projects are not just entertainment but a tool for popularizing modern agricultural technologies, engaging in the profession, and passing on experience to future generations.

We are grateful to all the teams that took on the challenge and create games about our industry. It’s inspiring and shows that agriculture can be modern, technological, and genuinely interesting," said Artem Samoylov, IT Director and Digital Transformation at Tavros Group.

Selection Outcomes

As a result, 10 teams entered the Accelerator and will continue their journey to the final pitch at VK's office.

  • "Childhood in the Village" by the "5 Element" team — a game for children and adults with interesting facts about fruits and animals, helping with the study of mathematics.
  • "TechnoPigFarm" by the "TechnoGameMakers" team — a simulator of a modern farm where you will create a high-tech full-cycle complex.
  • "Space Poultry Farm" by the JETCODE team — a strategic simulator for managing a poultry farm aboard a starship.
  • "Sugar Sky" by the Teanochk team — a game about the operations of a sugar factory: beet processing, logistics, equipment purchasing.
  • "Sugar Factory Simulator" by a solo developer from Saint Petersburg — a calm 3D simulator for a sugar beet processing factory.
  • "HryuCraft" by the DiDe team — a first-person 3D farm simulator in a voxel world.
  • Egg Fabric by the Agyshka st. team — a classic tycoon simulator about developing a poultry farm.

Three more games were included in the Accelerator based on the results of the Sineus hackathon — from the winning teams of the special nomination "Useful Games":

  • "Beet Rave" by the Bad Attempt team — a sugar production simulator;
  • "Incubatorium" by the DevJam Undercats team — a poultry farm simulator;
  • BBQ Escape by the Micro Team Games team — a farming simulator.

What's Next

During November, prototypes will be refined in the Accelerator's educational program, which includes modules on game design, art, programming, product development, and useful games. The final project pitch before industry experts will take place on December 11 at VK's office. A total of 33 teams are preparing for the pitch based on the results of the general and additional recruitment.

Join the Playtests

"A section called "Game Library" has appeared on the Accelerator portal, which we are creating together with the Internet Development Institute. This platform is meant for gathering feedback on the Accelerator's games, where developers can see the number of views and game sessions, set up surveys for players about their gameplay experiences.

We are collecting players and conducting playtests at events in Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, and other cities. This helps refine prototypes with players, consider their wishes, and fix bugs. The library is the first step towards publication in game stores," said Valeria Kiryasheva, head of the Accelerator for Useful Games.

Games from the additional Tavros selection will be added to the library next week. You can evaluate them, provide feedback on visuals and gameplay, report bugs, and help developers improve their projects.
