Faction Details — Stormbinders
Composer of the city screen themes for Stormbinders —
Michał Ratkowski.
The strength of the Empire faction lies in its adaptability. It is currently fractured by traitors.
The Empire boasts a balanced army and a strong economy. Imperials are good at both defending and attacking. This faction is suited for players who can adapt to the game circumstances.
The unique ability of the Empire is to resurrect the dead. This is done using the power of the Sun and advanced technologies.
For Astrion, harmony, knowledge, and the preservation of magical balance are important. It was the Astrion that first mastered the magic of the hidden threads from which reality is woven. The Astrion defend this power by building tower cities and magical schools to study Magical Weaving.
The powers of the Astrion are small but mighty; they rely not on quantity but on quality, enhanced by magic. The Astrion faction is suited for players for whom troop protection, planning, control, and intelligence-based decisions are important. Losing each fighter is very critical. Astrion rewards those who are cautious, play defensively, and plan each move.
During magical storms, Astrion gains additional magical power. The Astrion are masters of magical timing and control, casting shields, controlling battles with their abilities, and can turn the storm to their advantage, especially when the storms reach their peak.
The ruthless, fire-engulfed armies led by Lord Malgrim seek only one thing — the destruction of the old world and the construction of their own. Chaos is not a problem for the Helions; it is a weapon.
Helion is part of the world of fire and destruction. When storms rage, they look for the moment to strike. Fire, demons, and witchcraft are brought by the Helions from another world.
The Helion faction is suited for those who enjoy fast, aggressive gameplay. The strategy is straightforward: attack, summon, and destroy. Helions use magic to set enemies on fire and open demonic portals. Helion rewards players who never stop. If you like constant pressure and bold decisions — Helion is for you. Helions love chaos and can turn it into power.
The unique feature of Helion: the absorption of the souls of fallen enemies. Souls are used as magical energy. The longer the battle lasts, the stronger the Helions become. Every death fuels the army. In the end, only flames, ashes, and demons remain.
Immortus is a faction of the undead that believes there is a new form of existence beyond death. The leader of the Immortus, the armies of skeletons and ghosts, Skuld, has dedicated his life to restoring the natural order that was disrupted. Immortus does not fear death — they wield it.
Immortus relies on numbers. Weak, cheap, but numerous. Necromancy allows the army to grow like yeast. Every fallen — friend or foe — rises again under the banners of Immortus thanks to necromancy.
The faction is suited for fans of 'turtling', slow-paced gameplay. If you enjoy massive armies and exhausting wars — Immortus is for you. The special building of Immortus — the Bone Pit allows turning the living into the dead. It provides a significant increase in skeletons, complementing necromancy.
