Another Opinion - Trash, Madness, and Drunken Bears
Every player has icons - games they fondly remember and replay at least once a year, eagerly waiting for a sequel, making a t-shirt with the logo. Quite often, sequels leave a feeling of sadness - I was saddened by Heroes of Might&Magic IV, I didn't like [Serious Sam 2](/games?search=Serious Sam 2), I shed tears over [Disciples 3](/games?search=Disciples 3). However, there is one game series where the very idea continues to bring a storm of positive emotions - [Red Alert](/games?search=Red Alert).
Cranberry
Everyone knows what a cranberry is. If you don't know, a cranberry is a generalized term for stereotypes about Russians, implying that we wear ushankas in July while riding tanks so that drunk bears with balalaikas don't steal our vodka. What can I say, we look at others through such stereotypes too - the English are gentlemen who rush to drink tea at five o'clock, the Germans are in shorts cuddling with beer and sausages, Americans are dumb fat guys clutching Big Macs. This is especially visible in films from the 70s and 80s, but in our time, cranberries are more of a creative device for creating a fun atmosphere (see the movie Heat with the Terminator as the lead).
