Mafia: Walkthrough

content auto translated from {from}

Mission 1

The first nod from the developers to Mario Puzo, Martin Scorsese, and the most famous mafia movie, "The Godfather," is hidden in the name of the starting mission. There, Don Corleone, you'll remember, also made offers to friends and enemies that they couldn't refuse. Now, you yourself have become part of the friends/enemies situation. It's a pity that your taxi happened to be in the way of two guys fleeing from pursuers and wrecking their car. Now it's up to you to save their hides (and your own) while trying to shake off the tail.

The car on your tail is going to be more powerful than yours, so the key weapon lies not in the hands of the fugitives who crawled into your taxi but in your reflexes. Confuse the hounds, swing your taxi around like the last whore, and don't hesitate to drive into alleys and dark passageways (the TAB button to bring up the map will come in handy). Lead the pursuers into crashing into oncoming cars, and keep a close eye on the health indicators of your two clients (bottom left corner of the screen) - if one of them loses all their blood, you lose. Basically, getting away from the chase is fairly easy; you will need no more than three to five attempts for this operation, or even less.

Once you shake off your attackers, head boldly to Salieri's bar (the arrow on the map will show you the way).

Are they really trying to kill you for saving those two???

Mission 2

Well, since you didn't take Salieri's offer seriously, you'll have to work as a taxi driver for now. You need to drive around five passengers, and they are sensitive beings - they don't like collisions, they don't like rule violations, and they don't like people being “squeezed”... They only want one thing - to get to the right place as quickly as possible. The taxi missions here clearly serve as tutorials - they familiarize you with the city's districts, their names, and the main routes of movement between them. Smart.

So, after these trips, you decided to take a break, as you forgot how the coffee break ended in the first mission…

Yes... The mafia has long arms. Of course, you didn't want to get involved in the conflicts between the Salieri and Morello families, but... your opinion doesn't concern anyone. Morello’s bastards figured you out by your taxi number and unexpectedly dropped by for a visit. After taking a couple of hits and casting one last forlorn glance at your smashed-up taxi, RUN.

Oh, what a cool melody plays during this mission! Just because of it, I replayed Running Man about ten times; it's that good. Games, of course, not the film with A. Schwarzenegger that the mission title refers to. So about the running. The main thing here is to follow the green arrow's instructions and ignore the guys pissing by the fence, as every stop threatens you with a bullet in the back. So, run straight (don't try to strafe, avoiding the lead pellets - you’ll be safer), clearly avoiding corners, and you'll get to Salieri's bar quietly, alive, and healthy.

Remember when you were told you could come to the Don and ask for help at any time? Perhaps that moment has come. After a brief skirmish with Morello's hounds (it was silly for them to come in for coffee), you'll decide that being a mobster isn't so bad after all.

Mission 3

Since you decided to requalify from taxi driver to mobster, you'll have to pass a small test. Don Salieri offers you a small task - to destroy the cars of the Morello clan's leader. Along the way, you’ll also get personal revenge on them.

After receiving the assignment, you'll take a baseball bat and a couple of Molotov cocktails from the family warehouse with Polly, and from the family's mechanic Ralph, you'll learn how to steal a new type of car, one of which you'll take “on the mission”. Following the arrow, approach the Morello establishment and, without slowing down, crush the guard at the gate; otherwise, he will call for help.

Use two Molotov cocktails on two cars, smash the third one with the bat, and use the same bat on the others if they run out of fuel. In the worst-case scenario, guys from Morello’s café will come running out. You can bash the heads of the brave with a bat (they have guns…) or quickly jump into your car and beat it back to Salieri's eatery. I'd prefer not to get into trouble, but it's up to you.

After successfully completing this task, you'll become a full-fledged member of the Family, op-la.

Mission 4

Although your first assignment went quite well, the Don decides to test you again (at the suggestion of his consigliere, much more suspicious of newcomers than the boss). The task is entirely standard for regular members of the Family - you need to visit three different locations and collect the tribute for “protection.”

Get yourself a Smith & Wesson from Vincenzo and ask Ralph about a car for the job. The first two locations are within the city, while the third, a motel, is outside of Lost Heaven to the north.

Collecting the first two leather suitcases is no problem, but there will be a bit of a hassle with the third one.

After getting the second suitcase, head up the one northern road out of town indicated by the compass. Soon, you will arrive at the motel. Polly and Sam will leave you, go into the building, and then...

Hmm, Morello definitely wants to start a war. Despite your serious injury to the abdomen, Polly will order you to rescue Sam. Of course, with Vincenzo's pea shooter, you won't be able to perform such a responsible and life-threatening task.

Go around the motel on the left and climb onto the second floor via the crates. Don’t pay attention to the dog; you'll just waste bullets and health. Open the door on the porch and dive into the room as you go. On the bed lies a “Thompson” - that's something! After exiting the room, stand across from the toilet and wait for the mobster to open the door. Hello Travolta and "Pulp Fiction"! By the way, in the game, all toilets have a quite functional purpose; I recommend you try it out.

Gunfire will naturally draw thugs from the first floor. It'll be better if you retreat to the little corridor to the right of the stairs, crouch down, and start picking off the rushers one at a time. Conserve your ammo, because besides the guns dropping from the corpses, you won't have any more loot! After dealing with the most rambunctious guys, head downstairs to the first floor. There, in the same pose as a squatting woodsman, take out three Morello thugs. One of them will leave you some Thompson ammo. Sam is being held in the back room, behind the billiard tables.

Most likely, the thug in the dirty tank top beating him up will pop out at the noise and receive his portion of lead. However, don't be complacent - shortly he'll cause you some trouble. After rescuing Sam from the “beating room,” you’ll encounter another cowardly scoundrel who, despite having a tactical position advantage, won’t shoot you or Sam. Well, cowardice must also be punished!

As soon as the coward jumps into his yellow convertible, hop into your beater (I hope you didn’t smash it too much on the way to the motel?) and chase after the canary. You need to return the Family's money home. The best way to stop the fleeing bald guy is to build a barricade with your car in the tunnel or turn his car on the road with a calculated hit. After that, you can finish the job with regular lead.

By the way, personally, I was helped by a passing car in the tunnel that simply mowed the scoundrel down.

Mission, like, complete!

Mission 5

Don Salieri doesn't like to lose, but he always prefers to play fair. And since his idea of fairness is quite peculiar, his methods of playing are accordingly. The Don's assignment is to drive a new supercar for racing from the garage outside the city to Lucas's workshop. In the morning, it will participate in a race where a hefty sum rides on it set by the Don. No, no, nothing particularly criminal is expected. Just that Lucas will take a peek into the competitor's car, see what's what, and maybe tweak something. Well, it's, fundamentally, a small detail that will reduce the chances of the European driver and enhance the chances of Salieri's man.

You need to complete the task clearly and quickly while keeping the car safe and sound. Any “running” relations with the cops are strictly forbidden.

In the car given to you by Ralph, drive out of the city on the western road until you reach a tunnel barrier. At the little house near the arch, a friend of Ralph’s will meet you, informed of the amount of bills owed for helping Salieri.

In the garage past the tunnel, you'll get into a super-fast racer and drive it back to Lucas's garage, located in the western part of the city under the bridge (by the way, only in this mission will you have a chance to admire the local suicide).

After the “adjustment” of the car, drive the “F1” back to the racing garage and whistle your way to Salieri's bar.

Mission 6

Wow! By the will of fate, Tommy must replace the racer who due to a “injury” can’t compete with the dude whose car you “damaged” a little earlier. The Don's consigliere, Frank, will meet you in the racing garage and put you behind the wheel of the “Formula-1” prototype.

You understand, second place can’t even be mentioned - the Family won’t forgive such disgrace, and Game over. You absolutely need to overtake your main opponent - the European Martin Lichtenberg in a red car, and finish first after five laps. I don’t think you’ll be able to pass this mission on the first go. Most likely, it will be nothing on the tenth since the car skids terribly at high speed, and the opponents don’t sleep, with the lap lag usually measuring in tenths of seconds. The key to this mission is caution, knowledge of your opponents' behavior, and the ability to maneuver dangerously.

Remember that the AI navigates turns very gently, and that's where you need to catch them. Basically, if you get ahead immediately after the first sandbank and continue to drive carefully on the familiar route, slowing down in zigzagging forest patches, you can reach the finish with a decent lead. However, if there’s a sudden slide and spin… it’s better to start the level over immediately since the seconds you spend accelerating will see you overtaken by only the lazy.

Overall, patience, knowledge of all track sections, and caution will make you the race winner and the recipient of a trophy-kiss. After the races, you’ll still need to quickly scoot to Lucas's garage and then steal the delightful yellow Phaeton this time for personal use. But stealing is all pretty easy - you’ll do it yourself without hints.

For now, that's all for me; if there's anything new, I'll definitely write Scream.

Mission 7

Luigi asks you to escort his daughter Sara home because hooligans are bothering her on the street.

Walk with the girl in sync, chat with her, and in one of the alleys, bandits will attack you. Put on a brass knuckles and have a word with the trio of miscreants until they scatter in all directions. Pick up a baseball bat, walk further, turn into an alley, and you’ll see a couple of hooligans bothering Sara. Make them regret their hasty action deeply. Take Sara home and witness the bedroom scene. In the morning, Tommy will tell Salieri about what happened. The Don will order you and Polly to handle it. Stop by Vincenzo’s and take a baseball bat and Colt 1911 from him. Drive over to Biff for information; he can be found at the central square in Chinatown. He’ll point you to an old station nearby. Let Polly kick down the door, prepare your baseball bat, and take the lead in clearing the enemy territory. Keep a close eye on your buddy, he sometimes gets so bold that he doesn’t shy away from parrying with five opponents at once. Just don't open fire under any circumstances; otherwise, you’ll spook everyone and ruin everything. Aim for the back while attacking, that way you can take anyone down with a single blow. Climb the stairs and jump into the dumpster. Get your Colt 1911 ready, as the locals will shoot first, and you’ll have to respond accordingly. Shoot all the surrounding areas, keeping health in mind. Some will ultimately hide from you, so hop into your car quickly, wait for your buddy, and follow the nefarious ones. After some time, they’ll crash into a wall, and Tommy (or Polly) will take care of them.

Mission 8

You are given three tasks at once: deal with the whore who is passing information to Morello, blow up the hotel, and kill the manager.

Drive to Corleone Hotel in Downtown. Hide your weapons so no one suspects a thing. Go up to the third floor and find an unlocked door. The girl is taking a bath. Tommy still has some humanity left; he will pity the girl and tell her to scram out of town. Go down to the first floor and head to the restaurant. The manager (in white) is moving around. Wait for him to return to the restaurant, close the door, and immediately shoot the guy in black sitting at the table (with the gun). After that, deal with the defenseless manager. The commotion will attract the guards; find cover and take them out one by one. Take the key from the reception desk for the Director's Office and heal yourself at the first aid kit. Go up to the top floor. Just don’t burst into the director's office like a demon of vengeance! The opponent will be ready for a meeting, so be cautious. Tommy will plant a bomb, and there will be an explosion. Now you're on the roof, and the police are hunting you. Go up the stairs, through the doors, climb onto the parapet, and jump onto the roof of the house to the right. A cop from afar is aiming at you - beat him to it. Get down a little lower, and police officers will run out of the door. Get back upstairs and take them out from a good position. There's another opponent hiding on the adjacent roof, who is extremely hard to spot. After that, a few more cops will appear; take care of them too. Head to the wooden staircase, which Tommy will use to jump onto the church roof. There's a bucket hanging from a rope, and a worker stands just below it. How amusing. Go down and heal yourself at the first aid kit. You'll enter your friend's funeral, whose fate you decided along with Polly in the previous mission. The priest will notice you, but don't stick your head out; wait for the especially curious to come running. You know how to make them happy. After that, burst inside and hide behind a coffin. From cover, you will be able to easily take out opponents on the balconies and also deal with those hiding behind benches. Soon, a fresh wave of thugs armed with shotguns will arrive from the street. It makes sense to run under the church roof and deal with them one by one. Proceed to the street. The police are looking for you, as indicated by the WANTED sign at the top of the screen. Get into the first car you find and speed away to Salieri's bar.

Mission 9

Salieri gives another assignment: pick up whiskey from the warehouse outside of town. This mission promises to be hot.

First, you need to meet with Polly at Salieri's warehouse. Ralph will provide you with a new Bolt V8, so head over to your buddy. From there, you will reach your destination in trucks. It's suspiciously quiet in the village, and Polly will send you to scout the situation and find out what happened to Salieri's men and the liquor. Make your way across the farm to the truck. Open the door, and the driver’s corpse will tumble out. Right then, guys with shotguns will appear and start shooting at you. Don’t act like a tough guy; quickly zigzag back to Polly, who is already prepared with his mates for a warm welcome. Join your own and don’t let the enemies get close. After it calms down, talk to Polly - now you must rescue poor Sam. Head down the main road to the open barn on the right side. Inside, enemies are waiting for you. A first-aid kit is stored here for you, while Polly will find a crowbar. Across the road is a closed barn holding Sam. As soon as Polly kicks the door down, be ready to exact vengeance for Sam. Proceed with great caution as enemies are hiding almost everywhere. On the second floor, you can find another first aid kit, and on the third lies injured Sam. Polly will rush off for help, but just then the cops will arrive. Shoot them from the top of the window, but be prepared for the especially nimble to sneak up behind you. Head down, and you'll leave this nasty place. You're in the truck's bed and must shoot at the pursuing vehicles. You need to eliminate three cars. Shoot through the windshield at the driver. After Sam is taken to the best doctor in town, you can swing by Bertone for a task. Lucas asks you to warn his friend that the police are coming for him soon. Race to Hoboken at full speed, because time is running out. You must get ahead of the cops and knock on the door first. Head back to Bertone, and he’ll teach you how to handle the Ulver Airstrim Fordor. Drive to Oakwood and steal a car there, then head back to Salieri's bar with the new vehicle.

Mission 10

Omertà - the code of silence of the Italian mafia. Frank has betrayed the family and intends to turn over the documents to the police. You must track down the treacherous consigliere. Vincenzo has a shotgun for you, and Ralph has prepared a new car. Drive to Chinatown to find the first snitch, and then to the museum on Central Island for the second one. After that, you'll visit a bald guy living under the bridge near Bertone's workshop. However, the guy will refuse to say anything. Give him a few punches to the jaw, and in no time you'll know where the cops are holding Frank. Get a speedy car, like a Bolt V8 Roadster, and drive to Oakwood. From there, follow Frank to the airport. This mission is from the series "one against all." Make your way inside the building, where four enemies are waiting for you. Leave the first aid kit on the wall for later. Follow Frank to the hangar, shooting your way through the cops in coats. A truck will arrive from which a driver will step out with a crowbar. Feed the guy some lead, hop in the car, and run over everyone who gets in your way. Collect guns from the corpses, and don’t forget to shoot the enemy on the tower. Frank is at the parking lot behind the building; kill his bodyguards and talk to the traitor. You'll learn the reasons why the closest friend of Salieri wants to leave the family. It turns out the cops are threatening to kill his wife and child. Handcuff Frank and lead him to the building on the right, which is guarded by a couple of cops. Inside, you'll find the consigliere's wife and son. Talk with them, return to Frank, and take him to his family. You'll be asked to find tickets. At the parking lot, grab any car you like and head back to the first building. Inside, on the table, are the coveted tickets. Hand them over to Frank, and you’ll witness a touching scene. After that, without paying any attention to anyone, leave the airport and head to the bank in Downtown where you need to retrieve the accounting books. Check in with Bertone for the task. You need to deliver a “message” to Stan at Works Quarters. Find that black boxer and take him down; Stan will scare and run away. Lucas will teach you to steal a Thor 810. You can find this beauty in Oak Hills where the stars live. Once you’ve acquired a new car, return to Salieri's bar.

Mission 11

Another assignment from Salieri: steal an important document from the villa in Oak Hills.

Get a baseball bat and Colt 1911 from Vincenzo, and on your way to the millionaire's house, pick up Salvatore, the lockpicker, in Hoboken. Make your way to Oak Hills. Find the unremarkable gate in the fence and tell Salvatore to open it. Without wasting a second, run left and hide behind the statue. Tell Salvatore to stay put. Once the guard passes you, step out of cover and introduce him to your baseball bat from behind. You’ll get a key and shotgun. To the right is a small gazebo where another guard stands thoughtfully. Take the shotgun from him. If you did everything quickly, you’ll catch the third guard just as he descends the stairs of the house. Once the area is cleared, return to Salvatore and call him along. Go inside the house. If you bump into a maid, don’t hesitate to introduce her to your bat. Whose life is more valuable to you, after all? Just make sure not to mess with the switches anywhere, or you’ll bring trouble upon yourself. Go up to the second floor and find a safe in one of the offices. Tell Salvatore to break it. Then, unexpectedly, the owner will return. Grab the documents in the bundle and leave the house by another exit. Outside, a Silver Fletcher belonging to the rich man is parked, order Salvatore to unlock it and get out of the estate. Drop Salvatore off at his house and head to Salieri's bar.

Mission 12

Polly found a certain William Gates from Kentucky, who is selling alcohol on the cheap. The goods need to be collected from the parking lot.

Drive to the specified location. Go up to the upper floor with Sam and Polly, where your partners in the deal are already waiting for you. However, as it turns out, Morello is thirsty for war. Suddenly, two cars will pull up, and good fellows with "Thompsons" and shotguns will jump out. Immediately duck down and shoot everyone from afar, trying to conserve bullets. Soon, another car will arrive from which more enemies will emerge. On the lower floor, two guys are sitting behind bars, while a third hides behind a column at the other end of the room. Lower down, a bunch of guys are waiting for you on the left; try to lure them out one by one. On the second floor, the passage is barricaded, and also be careful - grenades will fly at you. Don’t use the regular staircase, but swiftly shoot everyone from cover. Once everything is cleared up, go back to the upper floor and bring the truck to the exit. The success of this mission largely depends on the quick thinking of Polly and Sam, who sometimes behave foolishly and wander right under the bullets. Now you need to deliver the goods to the warehouse in Hoboken; expect a chase with gunfire. But it’s best to discuss all the details on the spot. Arm yourself with a "Thompson" and deal with the guys left of the entrance, as well as blow up two black cars. The chase is off.

Mission 13

Salieri asks you to act as his bodyguard for a while and take him to lunch at a restaurant. The Don has a fancy car, no less. Drive Salieri to a restaurant in New Ark. However, you won’t really manage to have a good meal; Morello’s men show up to deliver a “message” to Salieri. You’ve only got a Colt 1911 with you, so things look grim. Immediately dash right and hide behind the bar. Shoot the guys on the right side as they have better chances of falling to Salieri. Conserve your bullets as soon, through the back door, a good trio will burst in. Ideally, you shouldn’t let them make a single shot. Head into the hallway. Through the window, you can see an enemy settled between the houses with a “Thompson.” Blow his brains out, then run to the courtyard and peek through the door on the right. Another lucky holder of a “Thompson” is lurking on the second floor. Make him miserable. From the window, you can finish off the remaining guys below. Go outside and double-check that everything is quiet. Just to be safe, hop into any car and chase down the remaining scoundrels. Now you and Salieri need to visit Carlo; his apartment is near the West Marshall Bridge. Collect guns from the corpses, and off you go. Go upstairs with Salieri and kick down the door. The guy in underpants has jumped out through the window; follow him down the fire escape. Catch him behind the garages and feed him lead. Right then, two morons with baseball bats and a third, smarter one with a gun, will appear from the door. You know what to do with them.

Mission 14

The Don is very displeased that he wasn't able to eat in peace at Pepe’s restaurant. Morello wants war? He’ll get it. But first, it’s necessary to deal with the politician who is celebrating his birthday on a steamboat.

Ralph will teach you how to steal a Crusader Chromium Fordor. Drive to the pier in the southern part of Central Island. However, without an invitation, nobody will let you in. The building opposite has an invitingly open door, and in the basement, clothing is hanging. Change into a sailor outfit, and you’re already on board. Now you need to find the pistol which Vincenzo wisely hid in the toilet. It’s located on the lower deck to the left, but you might only find a bucket there. By the way, there's a guy in a sailor outfit smoking nearby. Pay attention to him. On the higher deck, at the back of the ship by the stairs, you’ll find a door with a note saying SKIPPER HAS THE KEY. Remember the guy in the sailor outfit? Convince the skipper to give you the key. You’ll need to clean the toilet, but you’ll find a gun there. Go up to the upper deck and wait for the politician to start his speech. Get closer to him and extend sincere birthday wishes from Don Salieri. After that, rush down to the lower deck, shoving and shooting aside the guests in your way. Polly will already be waiting for you in the boat.

Mission 15

It's time to take a much more serious step - kill Sergio Morello. Polly will take a “Thompson” from Vincenzo, and you've got a Colt prepared for you. Ralph will provide you with a Guardian Terraplane.

Drive to the Italian restaurant, call from the street payphone, and ask for Morello on the phone. However, another guy will answer, but Polly will still feed him some lead. Oops... that was a mistake. Shake off your pursuers and head to Salieri's bar. A new plan is born. Get some explosives from Vincenzo and drive to Morello’s house. Wait for the guy at the entrance to finish his cigarette, and then slip dynamite under the car. Sadly, a woman will get in the vehicle... That happens, as Salieri says. Now you have to make an attempt on Sergio in the Rainbow Garden restaurant in Downtown. Just that Polly's “Thompson” will let him down at the critical moment. You’ll need to shake off any pursuers. The easiest way is to roll up to the bridge and slip down the stairs to the water, then the chase will crash into the water. After so many failures, the assignment gets passed on to others. Yet, luck is once again on Sergio's side. You’ll chase the gangster to the port along the route Central Island - Giuliano Bridge - Works Quarters. One of the hardest missions. You have a Colt 1911 in hand, and a guy rushing out from the right side gets a bullet in the forehead. The one lurking left in the bushes shouldn’t go unpunished either. Ahead, two more guys flash in the light by the car. Grab the guns from the corpses and jump into the truck. Run down anyone in site and search for two first-aid kits at the docks: one inside the small house next to the tanks, and the second on a wall at the opposite end of the building. After that, mill around and put the remaining ones to rest. The key is to take out the snipers from the red towers that are keeping tabs on you at every move. Then find Morello’s car. Accordingly, Sergio is hiding at the warehouse.

Shift the railway signals so that the tanker can roll right to the gates. Knock the boards from under the wagon's wheels, and it will roll toward the warehouse. Tommy lights up a cigarette and stylishly tosses the butt on the ground... Walk right in. There's a guy sitting on the boxes with a “Thompson,” while others are running around with shotguns. In the far corner is Morello himself, well, that’s all. Lucky, but dead bastard. Head back to Salieri's bar. On the way, be sure to check in with Lucas Bertone. You’re right on time. His friend in Chinatown is seriously injured, and you need to get the poor guy to the hospital. Notice that there’s a first aid kit hanging on the wall in Bertone's garage. Head to the scene via the northern bridge, bypassing the central island. You’ll need a speedy four-seater car, as besides the injured one, another mate will also jump in. When heading to the doctor, keep the speed capped at 60 km/h and calmly deliver the guys to Oakwood. Lucas will teach you how to steal the Bruno Speedster 851. You can find this on the parking lot in Central Island. Deal with the stylish car's owner, and then return to Salieri’s bar in the new vehicle.

Mission 16

Now it's time to deal with Morello himself. Vincenzo has a sawed-off shotgun for you, while Sam and Polly are equipped with “Thompsons.” Drive to the theater in Central Island. Morello will start fleeing from you in a limousine to the airport; follow him closely. At the airport, however, your car will mysteriously break down. Get out of the vehicle and run to the plane, where two guys with shotguns are already waiting. Once you deal with them, your car will arrive. Hop into the back seat, and you will be provided with a “Thompson.” Shoot at the engines of the ascending plane. Another option is that Morello’s car won’t turn toward the airport but will drive further to the destroyed bridge. There at the cliff, you can also settle the score with Morello. They say you can also take him out on the way. Not true; if you kill him, you’ll be informed that he “escaped” from you. After that, return Sam and Polly to Salieri's bar, and go yourself to Bertone’s. Lucas will ask you to dump the old car off the cliff in Oakwood. This can be done very easily. Drive the car to the cliff by the lighthouse, step onto the road, steal someone else's car, and shove the marked vehicle into the water. Head back to Bertone; he’ll teach you how to steal a new car. Drive to New Ark, where at the bar Roy's Grill parking lot a beauty awaits you, Celeste Marque 500. Just be sure to shoot the owner first, after which follow your conscience back to Salieri's bar.

Mission 17

Salieri orders you to take out another politician. Ralph has a Wright Coupe for you, while Vincenzo will equip you with a Mosin sniper rifle and a pistol. Drive to the prison. At the sewage manhole, take out the worker - you don’t want witnesses. The entrance inside the building is to the right. Move through the first floor and find the stairs to the upper floor. From right here, you'll be able to clear the second floor and also practice your sniping skills. Pick off any survivors one by one. Ultimately, you will find yourself at a spiral staircase crowded with enemies. On the top floor, step out onto the balcony. Make sure to aim carefully - you only get one shot. After that, run downstairs; new enemies will appear. There’s a crowbar lying in the room they came out of. It will come in handy on the exit. Descend the stairs to the first floor while disposing of all weapons. Walk through the dog kennel, and you’ll be on the street. The police are already waiting for you, who will search you and let you go. Swing by Bertone’s. You need to deliver a guy from Works Quarters to Lucas, whom the police are looking for. Grab a Thor 810 Sedan off the street and head across the northern bridge towards Downtown. Bertone will teach you how to steal a Lassiter V16 Appolyon. Such a beauty is parked at the mansion in Oak Hills. The guys at the gate are chit-chatting; they won’t pay much attention to you. But just at first. Speed over to Salieri's bar.

Mission 18

The Don is clearly hiding something, sending you on a dangerous mission for cigars. Gather a bat and pistol from Vincenzo, while Sam and Polly will take “Thompsons.” Ralph will provide you with a Lassiter V16 Fordor. First, take Sam to the location required at Works Quarters, not far from the port. Polly will propose an idea for a bank robbery, but no one will take it seriously. Drive to the port and wait for a truck filled with crates to come out. Follow it to the warehouse where it will be unloaded. Wait for the unloading!!! Block the truck's return path, pull the driver out of the cab, and confiscate the papers from him. Next, head to the port - they’ll let you in. Drive ahead - one of the warehouses is open, and the owner is standing by the entrance. Inside, you’ll spot boxes marked Scorsese import-export. Position the truck with the tail toward the platform for quick loading. Talk to the warehouse owner, and he’ll tell you to move boxes from outside to the warehouse (Dispatch Hall). You’ll have to put in a bit of effort. Ask two workers for assistance, and the three of you will manage quickly. Return to the warehouse owner, spin him some yarn, and he’ll run off to check on his workers. Now, quickly load all the cigar boxes into the trunk, then make your way to where Sam and Polly are waiting. As you enter the courtyard, stop just so that the truck is halfway in. This way, pursuers won’t be able to rush in altogether and will get through one by one. Once everything calms down, head to Salieri's warehouse with the truck. Inside the boxes, it turns out, there are no cigars at all... Salieri clearly doesn’t trust you.

Mission 19

Tommy has agreed to Polly's proposal to rob the bank.

Walk with Polly from his apartment to the station, from where a train will take you to Downtown to the First National Bank. Inside, you’ll learn all the details of the plan. After this, head over to Yellow Pete, the owner of the weapon shop located in Central Hoboken. Take a set of Colt 1911, Colt Detective Special, S&W Magnum, S&W M&P, and Thompson 1928. Then dash over to Bertone for a speedy car. You’ll be assigned to deliver a package to a guy named Dick under the East Marshall Bridge downtown. Hand the package over to the guy, and he will immediately be set upon by hooligans. Just hide behind some boxes and do your job. Bertone will inform you that you can steal a Trautenberg Model J, which will be heading from Oakwood to Central Island. Find and intercept the car. You are now fully prepared for the robbery. Roll up to Polly's house, honk, and head to the bank. Everyone on the floor! Quickly dash forward, kick the door open; to the left on the wall near the clerk, there’s a key hanging. Open the nearby door - at the stairs, a guard will be waiting for you. Hurry upstairs to the office with the Director's sign on the door; find out where the keys to the safe are, and grab them from the closet. Head down to the basement where you’ll need to take out two more guards. Fill the bag with cash and return to Polly. Quickly jump in the car; ideally, you should get away before the cops arrive. Make your way to Palermo Club in Hoboken.

Mission 20

Things are bad. Sam calls and asks to meet in the art gallery. Hide your weapon and leave Polly's house. On the stairs, you’ll encounter police officers, just walk past them. Outside, hop into a police car and drive to Yellow Pete’s shop for weapons. You’ll definitely need them. After that, head over to Bertone's. He'll task you with following a hustler working in the Corleone brothel. You need to tail the girl on foot while keeping a reasonable distance so she doesn’t sense anything. Drive to Lucas's and tell him everything. He’ll suggest you steal an orange Cord 812 Cabriolet FWD for sale in Chinatown, guarded by angry dogs. In the new car, drive to the gallery. Inside, Sam is already waiting for you with his guard. Get your gun ready and immediately shoot each of the two guys in the head; be prepared for two more to run in from the door ahead, and one to appear behind you. Follow the corridor to the room where the guy with the shotgun is perched. The one with the pistol isn’t a hindrance. On the balcony across, a buddy with a “Thompson” will pop up; hide around the corner, and he’ll come running. Save the shotgun for the three morons down below. Approach the stairs and jump back quickly - a grenade will hit from above. After that, arm yourself with a “Thompson” and set up a serious cleanup on the second floor. Between the stairs, you’ll find a first aid kit to heal yourself. Just be aware there’s another grenade awaiting you there. Find an open door. In a series of rooms, be very careful - enemies are hiding behind furniture. Smoke out Sam and follow him to the next floor.

The final showdown. The moment you stick your head out, you’ll regret it in an instant. Grab the “Thompson” and wait for Sam to turn away carelessly. You have a few seconds to unload a whole magazine into him, and he’ll leave his position. After that, proceed down the hall and follow the bloody trail. Keep your aim at the ready. Sam will peek around the corner...

Enjoy the shockingly stunning ending of this magnificent game.
