Beware - there are huge spoilers in this article!!
Something Ends, Something Begins I ("Is Ciri Dead?")
To achieve this, you need to fulfill at least three of the following five conditions.
● During the quest "Landscape After the Battle" choose to drink with Ciri.
● During your visit to Vizima with Ciri (quest "Landscape After the Battle"), take the emperor's money.
● During the quest "The Last Preparations" suggest Ciri to attend her conversation with the Lodge of Sorceresses.
● During the quest "Child of the Elder Blood" give Ciri Lara Dorren's necklace.
● During the quest "Child of the Elder Blood" refuse Ciri to visit Skjall's grave.
A week after the events in Skellige, Geralt returns to the swamps of Velen.
It’s evening. Geralt is making his way through the swamps to the east in search of the last witch. He encounters a werewolf. He looks haggard and tired. The monster will tell him about his hard fate, that the swamps are now full of poisonous vapors and he no longer has the strength to hunt people. Geralt will start asking about the witch who stole Ciri's medallion.
The werewolf will think that the witcher wants to kill him and will ask, "Is there another way?" There are two possible answers:
● No. You decide to kill the monster in an honest battle. After this, the game will immediately direct you to the witch's house.
● Yes. Geralt asks the werewolf to help in the search for the witch who stole the medallion. From his words, we learn that Ciri is dead.
Objective: Follow Berem
The werewolf introduces himself. He asks you to save the little wolf cubs, as they won't survive in these poisoned swamps. You will encounter hunters who have trapped a she-wolf. Geralt will notice that one of them has only one ear, remembering that witches like to receive such as a gift. Three response options will become available:
● Where are the witches?
● Let the she-wolf go.
● None of my business. (Choosing this option means you simply move on)
If you choose the first or second option, Geralt will try to free the she-wolf, and the hunters will attack him and Berem. You need to defeat 10 hunters and two wild dogs. Berem will help in the fight.
Having dealt with the hunters, Berem will notice a surviving puppy, but Geralt will order the werewolf to take him further to the witch. After killing a few drowners on the way, the companions will reach the shelter at the Crooked Marshes. Here, the witcher says goodbye to Berem.
A voice will be heard from the Weaver, addressing her deceased sisters. She will appear from the hut and prophesy imminent doom for Geralt. The witcher’s last battle will begin. He will face the Weaver herself, two drowners, a water hag, and a grave hag.
After decapitating the last Forest Mistress, Geralt will break into the sanctuary. There, he will find a small box containing Ciri's wolf amulet. A heart-wrenching and tear-jerking scene will follow, where Geralt, filled with despair, will sit down on a stool, pressing the medallion to his head. Meanwhile, hordes of drowners and other evil creatures will surround the shelter. Sunset.
Something Ends, Something Begins II ("Ciri the Empress")
To achieve this, you need to fulfill at least three of the following five conditions.
● During the quest "Landscape After the Battle" play snowballs with Ciri.
● During your visit to Vizima with Ciri (quest "Landscape After the Battle"), refuse to take the emperor's money.
● During the quest "The Last Preparations" allow Ciri to talk to the Lodge of Sorceresses on her own.
● During the quest "Child of the Elder Blood" allow Ciri to destroy Avalach's laboratory.
● During the quest "Child of the Elder Blood" agree to visit Skjall's grave.
Mandatory Conditions
● During the quest "Landscape After the Battle" take Ciri to Vizima to meet the emperor.
● Complete the quests "Deadly Conspiracy" and "Matters of State", ultimately siding with Roche and killing Dijkstra.
Months have passed since the events in Skellige. Geralt is sitting in the White Orchard tavern with Dandelion and Zoltan. His friends are reminiscing about past adventures and amusing stories from their own lives.
● If you had a romance with Triss, she will be sitting next to Geralt.
● If you had a romance with Yennefer, she will be sitting next to Geralt.
● If you didn't have a romance with either sorceress or unsuccessfully tried to romance both, Geralt will be alone.
Geralt remembers that he needs to meet someone near the hunter's hut. Before heading there, feel free to chat with Dandelion and Zoltan, to hear a few more tales.
It's winter, and everywhere there’s white snow.
On the way to the hut, you will meet a peasant whose horse has run away. This is an additional quest "Loyal Friend". In the course of it, you will encounter an old soldier. From him, you can learn about the outcome of the war. You will also meet another villager. He will thank you for your good deeds and offer to try a pie that his wife will bake in a few minutes.
Nonetheless, Geralt will arrive at hunter Mislav's hut. He will inform him that their mutual friend has gone to the fields.
The objective marker will lead us to Ciri, sitting on a ledge. Geralt, pleased to see her, will invite her to travel to any corner of the world, but the girl will insist on visiting the griffin’s nest. The game will offer two response options.
● We need to gather traps. Ciri will answer that Mislav will gather them himself, and you will move on.
● Are you really interested in this? Ciri will respond affirmatively, and you will continue.
Head south until you reach the griffin's nest. On the way, the witcher will make plans for future travels with Ciri. Approaching the nest, Geralt will sense danger and warn Ciri, but she will disregard his words. Suddenly, a viper will attack the girl.
After the battle ends, Geralt will begin to lecture Ciri, saying that if she continues to be careless, she might get seriously hurt next time. Ciri’s expression will change sharply, and she will lose her temper, shouting, "There won't be a next time!" Geralt will understand that she is distressed. She will quickly compose herself, apologize, and they will go fishing together.
Head north, past the ruined village where they once fought the midday wraith. Finally, you will reach a lake where you'll encounter a bear. Scare it off by throwing a bomb or shooting a bolt from your crossbow. Then, the White Wolf will decide to fish in the Vesemir way. For this, throw a bomb into the hole and collect the stunned fish. After this, the walk with Ciri will continue. As they stroll through the snowy forest, you will remember the old days. Geralt will even carry Ciri on his back. Then the girl will say it’s time to return.
Returning to the village, you will notice a Nilfgaardian escort. It’s here that Ciri will reveal to you a sad truth - she will become the Empress of Nilfgaard and thus can no longer travel with Geralt. You are entitled to ask if it’s her decision or if someone is forcing her? No, Ciri decided this herself. Saying goodbye, she will give the witcher her sword and head to Vizima to meet her father. The end.
In the winter White Orchard, at the site of the Place of Power south of the Nilfgaard camp (the former castle of the local baron), you can find a bloody skeleton, and next to it "Notes of a Demon Worshipper, Part 1" and a chest with a silver sword and money. To find out how to get there, read in the [comment](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/putevoditel-po-kontsovkam/comments/1825889) [Enchantress](/@Enchantress). However, before installing the mods she recommends, be sure to check their limitations.
West of the described place, in the former bandit camp, someone left the second part of "Notes of a Demon Worshipper" on a table by the tent. There are also two corpses in an open cage. When using witcher sense, they glow red, but you cannot interact with them. And again, comment Enchantress can help if you wish to visit this place.
Another strange place is located south of White Orchard and east of the Abandoned Village. From the non-functioning Place of Power, a path of floating stones leads to the statue of the goddess, where peasants gather (indicating an empty village). Thanks to finding it also goes to Enchantress.
Something Ends, Something Begins III ("Ciri the Witcher")
To achieve this, you need to fulfill at least three of the following five conditions.
● During the quest "Landscape After the Battle" play snowballs with Ciri.
● During the quest "Landscape After the Battle" either DO NOT visit Vizima with Ciri or, if visiting, refuse money.
To get the ending "Ciri the Witcher" you must meet at least one of two conditions:
● During the quest "Landscape After the Battle" NOT visit Vizima with Ciri;
● or completely refuse to complete the additional quest "Matters of State", or while completing it, side with Dijkstra and let him kill former allies from Temeria.
Additional options:
● I. Nilfgaard’s victory (if during the quest "Matters of State" you supported Roche and killed Dijkstra);
● II. Dijkstra’s victory (if during the quest "Matters of State" you supported Dijkstra and killed Roche);
● III. Radovid’s victory (if you did not take on the quest "Matters of State.
Two weeks have passed since the events in Skellige. The war between Nilfgaard and Redania is coming to an end. Emperor Emhyr has summoned you to report on the search for Ciri. On your way to the emperor's office, you will overhear soldiers talking. If both Radovid and Dijkstra are dead, the soldiers will speak of the need to protect Novigrad from marauders. They will also mention negotiations between representatives of Temeria and Nilfgaard. If Radovid is alive or if he is dead and you supported Dijkstra, you will learn about Nilfgaard's retreat from Vizima.
In the office, you will find Emperor Emhyr waiting for you. You will inform him about Ciri's death, telling him that she tried to stop the White Frost. The emperor will inquire about your future plans. You can respond:
● After the war, there’s a lot of work to do.
● None of your business.
Regardless of your response, the emperor will ask about Ciri, whether she asked you to relay anything to him. Response options:
● She regretted not being able to say goodbye...
● You didn’t quite play the father role well...
● We didn’t talk about you...
Regardless of your answer, Emhyr will ask the witcher to leave and never show his face to him again.
Later, Geralt will return to the White Orchard. He will meet peasants who will tell him about the aftermath of the war.
**● I. They will offer you some wine.
● II. They will tell you about Nilfgaard’s retreat and the presence of various bandits, even though they are also engaging in looting.
**
● III. They will speak of impending witch hunters' arrival.
Continuing on, Geralt will see:
● **I. Nilfgaardian cavalry and infantry returning from Velen;
● II. Redanian soldiers engaging in looting;
**
● III. A pack of wolves gnawing at the corpses of merchants.
In the former Nilfgaardian garrison, where the witcher was headed, he has an appointment with the blacksmith who crafted a silver sword on his order. The smith will ask him to clarify the content of the runic inscription on the blade.
● "Zeriael"
● "My shine pierces the darkness, and my light will disperse the gloom"...
After you pay the blacksmith, the game will instruct you to head to the tavern in White Orchard. If you wish, you can equip the received sword and test it on drowners.
Travel south to the village. The best way to get there is along the riverbank. This way, you won't miss out on the chance to meet old friends - the dwarves from the Isle of Mist. Spotting the fleeing Gaspar, follow him. He will lead you to his companions, who have set up camp near a Place of Power. During your conversation with the dwarves, soldiers will arrive and try to arrest them, accusing them of theft. Whether to stand up for them or not is up to you, but if you wish to get compensation for the boat stolen on the Isle of Mists, you should intervene. After defeating the soldiers, talk to the dwarves again and agree to accept the money, even though it’s been obtained dishonestly. In the end, you will become richer by 250 crowns and in addition will hear a funny story involving Gunter O'Dimm.
If you return from the former Nilfgaardian camp to the village via the road through the swamps, you might stumble upon a dead dog with its innards spilled out near a half-collapsed hut on the edge of the swamps. Examining the body with witcher's sense will uncover tracks leading towards a bandit camp. A basilisk (level 32) roams nearby. In some cases, you may end up chasing it all the way to the settlement west of the Lumber Mill sign. Overall, Geralt, happy hunting to you.
On the way to the village tavern you will see:
● **I. Temerian flags. The gathered villagers at the tavern entrance will be talking about Temeria's autonomy;
● II. Redanian tents and propaganda posters scattered everywhere with Dijkstra's image;
**
● III. Redanian soldiers rummaging through the huts in search of non-humans and sorceresses. Geralt will take note of the smoke coming from herbalist Tomira's house. If you like, you can save her by killing the witch hunters that have come for her.
Entering the tavern, Geralt will approach a table where someone is sitting in a hood. WOW! IT'S CIRI! He will tell her about the meeting with the emperor and hand her the silver sword. The girl will be immensely happy, as many adventures await her together with Geralt. The end.
Secondary Characters
Lord of the North
Radovid
You didn't complete the quests "Deadly Conspiracy" and "Matters of State"
Radovid had many flaws. He was cruel, hot-headed, and painfully ambitious. But one thing could not be denied: he was a brilliant tactician. With significantly fewer forces, he defeated the aggressor from the south. The Redanian eagle took under its wing all the North, including Novigrad.
After the victorious war with Nilfgaard came the time to finish the hunt for sorceresses. Just as before in Novigrad, now bonfires burned in the captured Temeria and Aedirn under Radovid's command. Under the pretext of restoring morals, thousands of ordinary sorcerers, healers, and non-humans - all these imagined heretics - were killed. Freedom under Radovid’s rule turned out to be worse for many than slavery.
Dijkstra
You completed the quests "Deadly Conspiracy" and "Matters of State" and sided with Dijkstra, allowing him to kill Roche, Bianca, and Talern.
In the Third War with Nilfgaard, two great strategists clashed: Radovid the Fifth and Emhyr var Emreis. Each seemed unbeatable, yet both suffered defeat. The southern invader was pushed back, yet the lord of the North fell victim to assassins. The power over the victorious Redania came into the hands of a man who had remained in the shadows all along: Sigismund Dijkstra.
Taking the post of chancellor, Dijkstra ruled the victorious North with his characteristic cynicism and unscrupulousness. He understood that if you want peace, you must prepare for war, and – following Nilfgaard's example – strengthen his dominions through the widespread construction of new settlements and the development of manufactories. All this for the benefit of the subjects, albeit against their will.
Emhyr
You completed the quests "Deadly Conspiracy" and "Matters of State" and sided with Roche, killing Dijkstra.
The war with Nilfgaard ended in the complete triumph of the southern invader. Deprived of Radovid's tactical genius, the kingdoms of the northlings could not resist the countless legions of Emhyr. Black banners flew over Novigrad and Redania.
Exhausted by the relentless raids of the Temerian partisans, Emhyr var Emreis agreed to recognize their kingdom once more as his vassal. The Temerians laid down their arms, allowing the emperor to concentrate forces on other fronts.
Thus, thanks to Nilfgaard, the Temerians regained their homeland, and history once again showed how it loves to weave intricate plots.
The Emperor's Fate
In Good Health
You completed the quests "Deadly Conspiracy" and "Matters of State" and sided with Roche, killing Dijkstra.
After dispatching Radovid, Emhyr var Emreis then dealt with his internal enemies. Loyal spies revealed all the merchants and aristocrats who conspired against him. Although their rebellion never extended beyond hazy plans, the emperor showed no mercy. As always.
Death at the Hands of Assassins
You completed the quests "Deadly Conspiracy" and "Matters of State" and sided with Dijkstra or did not complete these quests at all.
While Emhyr’s armies were claiming victories, he enjoyed the boundless trust and obedience of his subjects. However, as soon as he lost the halo of an infallible commander, the opposition that had been hiding until now went on the offensive. The emperor, who had danced on the burial mounds of his enemies, himself found his way to the grave by the efforts of his own subjects.
Lord of Skellige
Cerys an Craite
You supported Cerys in the quest "Royal Gambit".
While the continent was bled dry by wars, Skellige under Cerys began to flourish. For unlike her predecessors, the young queen focused on caring for her lands rather than plundering others'. Due to this, the people of the islands became quite wealthy, although they lost their former drive in the process.
Hjalmar an Craite
You supported Hjalmar in the quest "Royal Gambit".
Although the war on the continent had ended, Hjalmar did not lay down his arms. The young king vowed to plunder the shores of the hated Nilfgaardian empire every spring, and he intended to keep his word – even if it meant drowning all of Skellige in the blood of his countrymen.
Svanrige Bran
You did not complete the quest "Royal Gambit".
Many islanders thought Svanrige would become a puppet in the hands of his ambitious mother. The young king, however, quickly proved that he would rule independently and firmly. Weary of eternal quarrels among the jarls, he decided to introduce absolute rule on the islands, akin to the monarchies of the mainland. He achieved this, but at the cost of much bloodshed among his relatives and countrymen.
Fate of Ciri
Is Ciri Dead? (Something Ends, Something Begins I)
Ciri did not return after trying to stop the White Frost. She hasn’t been seen by anyone ever since.
As for Ciri?... Difficult to say. She hasn't been seen since the events at Undvik.
Ciri the Empress (Something Ends, Something Begins II)
After years of wandering, Ciri returned to her true home - Nilfgaard. Emperor Emhyr was set to make her his heiress. It must be said that the girl had all the prerequisites for this. From her blood father, she inherited keen political instincts, and from Geralt, she got ordinary human decency. Such traits rarely coexist in monarchs. What a pity...
Ciri the Witcher (Something Ends, Something Begins III)
Ciri Fiona Ellen Riannon, the heiress to the Nilfgaard throne, chose a life on the Witchers' Path. Geralt taught her everything he knew, and then each went their own way. Soon, legends about the deeds of the witcher girl with ash-colored hair spread from Yaruga to the Koviri mountains...
Fate of Geralt
Triss
You confessed your love for Triss during the quest "Now or Never" and rejected Yennefer within the framework of the quest "The Last Wish" or you did not complete this quest at all.
Geralt, hard to believe but finally cast anchor in distant Kovir. Together with Triss, they settled in a warm house where the smell of freshly baked pies was always present, and guests were welcome regardless of the day or hour. Occasionally, the witcher would take on some contracts out of habit rather than necessity. For being a royal advisor, Triss earned more than enough.
Yennefer
You confessed your love for Yennefer during the quest "The Last Wish" and allowed Triss to leave for Kovir in the framework of the quest "[Now or Never](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-akt-i-novigrad-dopolnitelnye-missии-тесно-связанные-с- основным-сюжетом-ч.2-3)" or you did not complete this quest at all.
While kings shifted borders, Geralt and Yennefer led a calm life away from the great politics. Their days flowed by in leisurely strolls and long conversations. They would have breakfast well past noon and, of course, most often in bed. Boring, you might say? Perhaps. But neither of them wished for anything more.
Forever Alone
If you confessed your love to both Yennefer and Triss, or did not complete the quests "Now or Never" and "[The Last Wish](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-акти-и-скellige-дополнительные-миссии-тесно-связанны с- основным-сюжетом).
And what about Geralt, you ask? What could have happened to him? He returned to his craft, living from contract to contract, forever on the road, forever broke. We sometimes met for a drink, to reminisce about old times and ponder what could have been...

The Bloody Baron
The fate of the Baron will be influenced by your decisions made during the quest "The Whispering Hill.
Repentant Husband.
You killed the spirit in the tree. Anna has gone mad. The Baron will head to the Blue Mountains with his wife in search of a healer.
Witchers were created to kill monsters. It doesn’t matter who places the order. It’s important that the payment is as agreed. Details only poison life. A witcher must do their job without hesitation. They just lift the wallet thrown to them and go their way. People do not expect a witcher to defend them from themselves.
Hanging Man.
You freed the spirit imprisoned in the tree. Anna turned into a monster and died.
If one must choose between the lesser and the greater evil, I prefer not to choose at all. But sometimes, the stakes are too high. Sometimes, one must choose the greater evil to achieve even a small good. I did not know that saving the children from the village in the swamps would lead to Anna’s death. I could not even have thought that the Baron would leave his wife's body and hang himself with a simple hemp rope. Sometimes a decision must be made without looking back.
Sara the Cute
Sara's fate will be influenced by your decision made during the quest "Dream in the Big City".
Happy Ending.
You let Sara stay in the Novigrad house. Soon Korina will move in with her and stay there to live together with Sara (see the additional quest "The Haunted House").
Long ago, people began to build cities to barricade themselves from a world filled with monsters. They never truly rid themselves of the fear of the creatures that might be hiding beyond the stone walls. Because in truth, it is not walls that provide people with a sense of safety. A home is not a place that can simply be locked up. To find a true home, one sometimes must undergo a long journey.
Exile.
You kicked Sara out of the house. Later, you found her at Thyme Hill with Ivasik, with whom she made friends.
Keira Metz
New Friend.
You persuaded Keira to go to Kaer Morhen during the quest "[For the Good of Science](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-akt-i-velen-dopolnitelnye-mиссии- тесно-связанные-с-основным-сюжетом).
After the battle in Kaer Morhen, the sorceress ended up with Lambert. Together, they set out on a journey. If you gave her the notes of the mage Alexander, she will create a remedy for the plague.
Sad Death.
If during the quest "[For the Good of Science](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-акт-и- велен-дополнительные-миссии-тесно-связанные-с-основным-сюжетом)" you simply allowed Keira to leave.
Radovid refused to deal with the sorceress and ordered her execution. Her mutilated body will be displayed in the Hierarch's Square. The same will happen if you do not undertake the quest "[For the Good of Science](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-акт-и- велен-дополнительные-миссии-тесно-связанные-с-основным-сюжетом).

Death at the Hands of a Witcher.
During the quest "[For the Good of Science](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-акт-и- велен-дополнительные-миссии-тесно-связанные-с-основным-сюжетом)" you killed Keira with your own hands.
Fate of the Bloody Bastard
You will learn about the fate of the Bloody Bastard during the quest "[Revenge](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-акт-iii-ч.1- poslednie-prigotovleniya-12)".
Another Person.
If you killed the Bloody Bastard at the end of the quest "[Hunting for the Bastard](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-akt-и-н овиград-дополнительные-миссии-тесно-связанные-с-основным-сюжетом-ч.1)", then his place will be taken by Dudu. The ingenious doppler will start his own business.
No one shed a tear for the Bloody Bastard. In his miserable life, he helped no one. Ironically, he became respected only after his death. They say everyone deserves a second chance. Perhaps, that is true. The bastard has somehow earned his second chance. He shared it with a doppler whom friends called Dudu.
Pitiful Drunkard.
If you left him alive at the end of the quest "Hunting for the Bastard".
You will find him begging in the alleys of Cut-off. The Big Four took everything from him, and he has nothing left.
Fate of the Sorcerers
Flight to Kovir!
You completed the quest "Now or Never" and helped the mages escape to Kovir.
The mages will survive and live a peaceful life in Kovir. Unfortunately, after the disappearance of the mages, witch hunters will turn all their attention to non-humans.
Execution
If you did not complete the quest "[Now or Never](http://www.gamer.ru/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/vedmak-3-prohozhdenie-акт-и- новиград-дополнительные-миссии-тесно-связанные-с-основным-сюжетом-ч.2-3)", then all mages will be executed.
All mages will be executed. Their mutilated, burned bodies will be publicly displayed on the streets of Novigrad and Oxenfurt.
