Make the barrel, Hawk. Four ways to complete the game on "hard" level.
Director: And above all, drive actions forward
Live, from episode to episode.
More details to develop them,
To capture the attention of onlookers,
And you defeated them, you reign,
You are the most needed person, you are magic.
To deliver a good performance to the play,
It requires assembly and composition.
And everyone, choosing something from the mix,
Will go home, thanking you.
Stuff all sorts of nonsense into the feeding:
A little bit of life, a little bit of invention,
You manage this kind of stew.
The crowd will turn everything into okroshka anyway,
I can't give you a better piece of advice.

Poet: The proliferation of triteness is a great evil.
You are completely unaware of this.
The craft of talentless rogues,
As I see it, you are highly esteemed.
Dragon Age 2 has been casualized, and you decided to play the game on "hard" or "nightmare" difficulty. But here’s the problem, you keep dying.
Don’t worry. There are four tricks in the game, perfectly fair (from a gameplay mechanics standpoint), that significantly ease the task.
Big Boss
Even on normal difficulty in DA:O, the first ogre or dragon posed challenges. The only way to defeat them was to take 3 archers and a mage, then constantly change their positions. It took a long time, but that was the only way. For melee weapons, it was impossible to win.
So, in the second part, the mechanics changed. So let's see who the bruiser is attacking. We target him -> run in circles. No matter how stupid this looks from the outside, it works. Moreover, if the character uses the "taunt" ability or deals the highest damage, the NPC will chase him until he dies. Yes, this dragon died while chasing one character, while the others shot him down.
Respawn, be a man!
The main ailment at the hard level is caused by certain individuals that appear out of nowhere and catch us off guard when we have comfortably positioned our companions.
So, there is a bug in the game. When you enter a room, you trigger a party of meat. Run away. The thing is, if all 4 heroes are far from the original spawn point of the enemies, no additional troops will appear. And even if they do, they will just stand still, waiting for you to approach them. It all comes down to scripting. However, clicking through small parties is much easier than trying to defeat all at once.
One in the field is still a warrior!
DA:O was a "tabletop" game. What did that mean? If a character is fighting someone, running away is useless. Even if you are five meters away, their attack will still reach you.
In the second part, this is not the case (we're talking about melee combat). That is, the hit'n'run mechanic works here. If you're fighting a group without archers, mages, or spiderlings, one shooter will be enough to take them all down. Yes, it will take time: Shoot - Run away - Wait until the NPC hits you and misses - Shoot again. But once the whole squad is down, it's the only way not to start all over again.
Aha, here are those guys
In the first part, there were also exploitative tactics. A mage would cast a push rune at a narrow passage, and then summon a firestorm. You could also "stuff" companions into a passage so that archers and mages could shoot the enemies. But the characters were small, and the openings were large.
But thanks to the console nature of the second part, almost all openings became the same. To completely block a passage, three people are enough (two might work, but it’s a matter of luck - will they pass or not). The key is to have the strongest attack. Most of the time, there are no enemies who could break through the wall. Thus, the oldest and tested meat grinder scheme works.
For those who don’t know, the "N" key disables automatic movement of companions.
Always your captain, thank you consoles.
